Fancy Fish – Melbourne Food and Wine Festival

South Wharf Promenade is participating in the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival – our initiative is “Fancy Fish” where we are aiming to educate Melburnians on making sustainable seafood choices by introducing them to a little known fish who should be on plates around the country, and not his over-fished friends.

Each of our participating chefs and restaurateurs – including Paul Mathis, Mark Briggs, Kengo Hiromatsu, Rodney Shah, Dave Sharry and Richie Ludbrook and The Darcy family – will be preparing their own Fancy Fish dishes, with tasters handed out to our visitors for free at South Wharf Promenade. The Promenade will be transformed into an outdoor aquarium in monochromatic blue, where weary foodies can take respite and rest.
