Lucky Kate has been travelling around the world for the past year and a half and has decided to take a bit of a rest in Australia to save some money and enjoy the ‘strong sun’. She will be heading off again after about a year depending on ‘how life will design everything’.
Kate has taken this trip after studying hard in Brazil and completing a degree in visual communication and design followed by a MBA in business marketing. She sees this trip as another degree in itself – learning about different cultures and people, and no doubt the cuisine as well.
She has tried a lot of the dishes at the Meat Market and her favourite so far is the stuffed zucchini flowers with saganaki béchamel with two-tone tomato salad. Sounds delicious.
Working at the Meat Market has been a great opportunity for Kate to practise her English although she says ‘I thought you guys speak English but you don’t, you speak Aussie!’ No doubt about that, mate!
