Maybe you’ll kick off with a coffee at Citizen to workshop your plan of attack.  We’d recommend starting at The Boatbuilders Yard, then moving on to Akachochin, the new izakaya and sake bar with Kengo Hiromatsu (ex Nobu) at the helm. Head to The Sharing House for a playful and indulgent dish or three by the talented Mark Briggs (ex Vue de Monde,
but being a foodie, you already knew that).  Feast on the Moreton Bay Bugs and hot chips at The Bridge.  Word about town is that they’re the best chips in the business.

Walk across to Melbourne Public bar and dining room where Executive Chef Justin Dingle-Garciyya has returned home to Melbourne after 10 years abroad, cooking for Indonesian royalty and setting up luxury island resort restaurants. Be sure to save room for Mediterranean morsels from Vas Donoudis (ex Mama Baba) who leads the kitchen at Shed 5.  Fresh from the East Village in NYC is handsome Spanish Chef Josep Espuga whose experience in Michelin Star venues you’ll savour in delight at Bohemian.  The pies at the Common Man are homely and hearty…and so is the steak at The Meat Market.  It’s a culinary adventure fit for serious foodies.
