There’s nothing quite like live music. Whether it’s soulful tunes to quiet a whirring mind or rock to get you on the dance floor – live music has a way of making good days really great! Here are five of our favourite music gigs at South Wharf Promenade.
Saturday nights at Gasolina
Grab some top nosh, have a drink and take to the dance floor at Gasolina with their rockin’ live music every Saturday. Upcoming gigs include rockabilly on 26 August with The Infernos and classic rock on 2 August with The Jaded Cats.
INXSIVE at Melbourne Public
If you love INXS, it’s worth checking out one of the best cover bands around – INXSIVE the INXS tribute show on Saturday, 26 July 2014. We had a chat with frontman David Graham – check it out here.
Sunday roast with a side of tunes at Meat Market
Head down to Meat Market on a Sunday afternoon and grab a delicious Sunday roast, accompanied with acoustic tunes from Miss Dee.
Tim Rizzoli at Melbourne Public
Sunday sessions don’t get much better than a beer and some tunes by Tim Rizzoli. Stave off Monday and relax for a few more hours.
Flamenco at The Bohemian
If it’s passion you’re looking for – live Flamenco at The Bohemian is the answer! Thursday, 24 July 14 is Mid-Winter Festival at The Bohemian – with mulled wines and hearty Spanish nosh. Get down after 6pm for live flamenco music and a truly arresting Flamenco dance performance! You’ll also find live Flamenco music on at The Bohemian on Sundays.
